Fees and Rebates – Telehealth Consultations

A 30% booking fee is charged at the time of booking to secure your appointment, with the remaining 70% payable after your session.

Private Consultations

  • Initial Consultation: $150 per session

  • Review Consultation: $90 per session

Private health insurance rebates may be available for Telehealth dietetic consultations, depending on your fund and level of cover. Where possible, we will assist with processing the rebate on your behalf after your consultation. Rebates will be paid directly to you. Please check with your health fund for details of your cover.

GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP) Consultations

  • Initial Consultation: $150 per session

    • Out-of-pocket cost after rebate (currently $61.80): $88.20

  • Review Consultation: $90 per session

    • Out-of-pocket cost after rebate (currently $61.80): $28.20

If eligible, the standard Medicare rebate under a valid GPCCMP plan will be processed on your behalf after the consultation and paid directly by Medicare into your nominated bank account. If your referral is not valid or the Medicare claim is unsuccessful, the full private fee applies.

Assignment of Benefit (Bulk Billing in limited cases):

In limited circumstances, eligible consultations may be processed via Assignment of Benefit:

  • Your Medicare card and required referral will be verified.

  • You may be asked to complete a Medicare Assignment of Benefit form after your consultation, allowing the rebate to be claimed directly by the practitioner.

  • The rebate is then paid directly to the practitioner.

If your referral is invalid, your Medicare card is expired, or the claim is unsuccessful, the full private fee applies.

Cancellation and Payment Policy
  • A 30% booking fee is charged at the time of booking.

  • Appointments cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice may be refunded or rescheduled.

  • Appointments not attended, or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, will result in the 30% booking fee being retained.

  • The cancellation fee is a private charge and cannot be claimed from Medicare or your private health fund.
